SN74lvc573a: SN74LVC574ARGYR

Part Number: SN74LVC573A

Hello,

is the SN74LVC574ARGYR qualified for Ta -40°C to 125°C ?

On page 2 in the datasheet -40°C ..85°C is specified for VQFN20 package (this is the RGY type)

On abbendum page 2 the datasheet specifies -40°C to 125°C for the SN74LVC574ARGYR.

What is correct? what parameters in this datasheet are valid for the SN74LVC574ARGYR?

thanks

Ronny

  • Hi Ronny and welcome to the forums.

Your confusion is very justified - I'm going to have to do some research and get back to you. I don't even know which is correct right now.

The safe bet is to go with 85C as the max until I can verify that the characterization was done at 125C for those parts that claim to be at that rating.
  • Hi again,
The SN74LVC574ARGYR is rated to +125C as listed in the orderables addendum.

I was able to find the temperature extension for the SN74LVC574ARGYR that was done back in 2014. They even listed it as being updated in the datasheet, but it looks like the change wasn't actually made for some reason. I will add this to our list of datasheet updates that need to happen.

Thanks for bringing it to our attention!
  • Hello,

    thanks for your fast response.

that's all i need to know.

    kind regards

    Ronny
