Hello,
In a design of ours we have inadvertently powered SN74LVC74A D-flip flop from +5V. The recommended Vcc range according to datasheet is 1.65 to 3.6V and absolute max is 6.5V. Its inputs are 5V tolerant.
In spite of deviating from the datasheet specs, so far the component has performed well.
Query: Is it safe to power it from 5V?
