SN74AHCT244: Applying high logic to input under no power supply condition

Hi Team,

Let me confirm just in case

Is it OK for SN74AHCT244 to apply high logic signal(3.3V) to inputs pins during no supply condition?

In my understanding, 3.3V is under its Abs and recommendation range so SN74AHCT244 can withstand it without any issues.

Is my understanding correct?
