SN74LVT125-Q1: Maximum Peak Current

Part Number: SN74LVT125-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC21520

Hello,

I am adopting this device for the buffer placed between MCU and UCC21520.

According to the datasheet, the device is specified to have 128 mA and 32 mA for absolute maximum current in the low state and for recommended operating conditions respectively and 64 mA and 32 mA for the high state.

Does this mean that the maximum peak current should be lower than the former values, e.g., 128 mA for the low state and 64 mA for the high state, and the RMS value should be lower than the latter values?

If not, what is the device's capability for the maximum peak sink/source current?

I am trying to identify the series resistance needed to be placed between UCC21520 and this buffer.

Thanks,

Yukihiro
