Part Number: MSP-EXP432P401R

Hi,

I use the MSP-EXP432P401R development kit, and using the TM4C1294NCPDT burner I burn to the MSP432P401R on another PCBA.
The first time I loaded the program (for that matter I used the example pwmled2_MSP_EXP432P401R_nortos_ccs), through the debugger, the program loaded. Through the FLASH button it did not work.
The second time I loaded the program (same program), I got this error:
CS_DAP_0: Error connecting to the target: (Error -261 @ 0x0) Invalid response was received from the XDS110. (Emulation package 9.5.0.00143)
It repeated itself several times in exactly the same way.
I updated all the software, and all the firmware I could.
Anyone have an idea what could be causing the error?

    Hello,

    There seems to be several threads across the forum related to this error with no clear solution.

    Things that come to my mind include (a) using short jumper wires (b) checking that all passives and required JTAG or SWD connections are correct on the custom board (c) avoiding any power supply conflicts if connecting VCC from debugger to custom board (d) damaged device on the custom board.
