I had 2 questions:

We wanted to buy the RM57 HDK board because we needed access to the SDCard but we started with the launchpad board because online it said the RM57 HDK board was out of stock.

1. Will the HDK board be back in stock soon or is it possible to buy a used board from TI?

2. Is it possible to connect an SDCard to the launchpad if we populate the necessary pins and can connect that way? If yes are there instructions of what type of external SDCard drive we could connect and which pins we could connect to, and then how to enable that in HalCoGen?

On HDK board we have SD card with SPI communication

On launchpad these terminals are connected to Header connectors so you can use them to extend and connect it.

Thank you. I will wait to hear from you on where/when we can buy the RM57 HDK boards (used or new).

On connecting a sdcard to the SPI pins, does TI have a recommendation of where we can buy the sdcard board that is compatible to connect to the SPI pins on the launchpad? Does TI sell an sdcard eval board with accessible SPI pins as well to connect to the launchpad board?

There are some similar SD card adaptor online.

The pinout of the header is GND, VCC, SPI_MISO, SPI_MOSI, SPI_CLK, SPI_CS

Then plug the adaptor to J10 of the launchpad:

and wire the GND, VCC, and SPI_CS to the adaptor.

Hi QJ thank you. Does TI sell an expansion board we can but to plug the RM57 launchpad into so we can get to the pins along both sides of the board and the booster pack pins that are not populated? Or is the only option is we have to buy and solder the pins to the launchpad board? One of my team members said he thought TI sells an expansion board we can plug the launchpad board into? Does TI still make those, what are they called, and where can we buy them?

No, we don't have boosterpack for RM57Lx launchpad.
