Tool/software:
Hi,
We're currently using the MSPM0L1305 MCU for our project. Due to the memory restrictions, we are looking to switch to MSPM0G1106.
My question is, with the MSPM0G1106 who's maximum possible clock speed is rated at 80MHz, can we still configure it to run at 32MHz and achieve lower level of power consumption?
I assumed so based on what the datasheet says but wanted to double-check.
Thank you
Hi Kyungjae,
Yes this can be easily adjusted using Sysconfig, or with some simple register writes. In short yes it is fully possible to run at 32MHz (or lower), and this will reduce power consumption compared to the same application running at higher clock speeds.
