Hello everybody,

I have a GUI issue in HalCoGen 4.04 (see screenshot). You can see that the elements (eg buttons) in the foreground compared to the elements in the background (eg bus) are moved. Working with the program is more difficult. I use this program in a virtual machine. Perhaps the problem lies with the graphics drivers. The driver is VMware SVGA 3D. How can I fix the problem?
If further information is required, I'll put it in this post.

Daniel,

Can you check in your windows configuration that you are using 100% font size?
Other than that I will suggest to check with WMWare.

Hi Daniel,

This is a known issue. HALCoGen GUI is tuned only for normal font size. You will have to change your windows font size to normal.

Windows XP:

Windows 7: Go to the following menu and set the font size to Smaller(100%)

The font size was set to 125%. I changed it to 100% and the ratio of the elements is now correct.

Hello,

Is there a plan to make the GUI compatible to different font sizes in the future release.

I cannot live with 100% font size on 14 inch screen with 1080P resolution.

Hi Ning Tan,

Sorry, We do not have immediate plans to change HALCoGen.
We are plans to move towards an eclipse based plugin, but i do not see anything coming in next few month.
