LAUNCHXL-F28379D: C2000ware is not showing the sysconfig enabled projects

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-F28379D
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSCONFIG, C2000WARE

I have downloaded the latest version of the CCS, sysconfig and c2000ware. When I go to resource explorer to import a C2000ware project then I'm not seeing any project with sysconfig file. I'm not sure why is that happening.

FYi, in my personal system everything works fine and I have access to sysconfig enabled example projects in the c2000ware. This only happens with Lab PC. I have tried installing everything after disabling the anti-virus and firewall but still the same result. I have also tried both c2000ware 5.00 and previous version c2000ware 4.03.

Please help me in this regard.

  • Hi,

Are you importing the project on CCS Cloud or on the local CCS installation? Also, are you able to see the .syscfg file after importing or you are unable to launch the SysConfig GUI using the .syscfg file?

    Best Regards

    Siddharth

  • I'm importing on local CCS installation.

No, I'm not seeing .syscfg file in the imported projects.

However, if I add the .syscfg file manually then I'm able to open the GUI in the CCS (but only after I add the relevant Sys-config version in products settings of the project.

  • Hi,

Pls share the projectspec that you are importing from to help me in figuring out the cause for this issue.

    Best regards

    Siddharth

  • What do you exactly mean by projectspec?

Actually the problem is present for all examples in the c2000ware on that system.

  • Hi Anurag

By projectspec, I meant the file that CCS imports into the workspace.

For e.g : For the LED blinky example, you will find the file in C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_5_00_00_00\driverlib\f28p65x\examples\c28x\led\CCS folder.

If you import this project , using CCS GUI by clicking on Project->Import CCS Projects  and then specify the above path, it will create a CCS project in the workspace. You can click on the .syscfg file in the project and it will open up the SysConfig GUI.

Can you provide details on how are you imporing the projects into CCS ?

    Best Regards

    Siddharth
