TMS320F2800157: First debugging, F2800157 sample, using tool uniflash unable to erase chip flash

Part Number: TMS320F2800157
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH

Hi experts Team,

There's a question need your help:

For the first time debugging our new board, the supplier provided a sample of 2800157. We used flash tool “Uniflash” to erase the chip flash, but each operation was unsuccessful and displayed:

  • Hello Jack,

It appears that a password/passwords have been programmed into the User OTP. You will need to supply the correct password to unlock this part before you can erase the Flash.

  • Hi Ibukun,

    Thanks for your reply.

The problem has been resolved. The reset pin of F2800157 was interfered with by pulse signals from other circuits connected to it, and it is ok after being disconnected.

    Thanks,

    Jack
