Sir,

the example code that has been given with HALCOGEN i.e. example_sci_uart_9600 is working fine with serial port setting. But I m wondering why its working with any baudrate setting in serial terminal. I think it should show some garbage data when working with baudrate other than 9600 bps.

Which terminal you are using? Are you sure changing the settings of serial terminal takes effect?

Sir,

I tried with realterm,Teraterm alongwith CCS terminal. All showing the same result. Basically i need to transmit and receive data at 921600 baudrate. So I have tried by changing BRS resistor. I have treid with the given example but unable to get it how its working. Its working with all baudrates i dont know how??

Are you using oscilloscope or analyzer to see that baud rate is changing?

Sir, i followed the configuartion steps to change the baud rate. Also i checked on oscilloscope. Baudrate is changing. But no idea about the problem. So let me try one more time and i ll come back to you
