Hello,
when I try to connect the MSP-FET to program the MSP430F2617 chip, Uniflash shows me the message "No debug probes/devices detected", both in Auto and Manual setting.
I tried with different cables but the connection still doesn't work.
The drivers are updated, and I can also see 'MSP Application UART1' and "MSP Debug Interface" device in device manager.
Any suggestion o how to solve my issue?
Thank you.
Stefano
Hello Stefano,
Are you able to connect to the debugger using another SW tool, such as Code Composer Studio, IAR...?
Are you using the latest version of Uniflash?
Can you provide a screen shot of the error message?
Hello Dennis,
thank you for your reply. Yes, I am able to connect the debugger to CCS and it works.
The version of Uniflash I am using is updated to the 6.4.
Here is a screenshot of what it shows me everytime I try to program with Uniflash.
Even if I try to add manually the .ccxml file I cannot flash the image during the second step and here is the message I see.
Yes, I am able to connect the debugger to CCS and it works.
What version of CCS did you use?
And what is the Host OS version (please specify if you are using 32 or 64 bit version also)
Thanks
ki
OS is win10 32 bit.
This is the issue.
CCS 8.1 is supported on Win32.
UniFlash 6.4 is not. It only supports 64-bit Windows.
The last version of UniFlash to support 32-bit Windows is UniFlash 4.6:

Thanks

Thank you,
I installed the older version 4.6 and now Uniflash correctly identify the FET.
