EVM430-F6779: Problem calibrating IRMS via GUI

Part Number: EVM430-F6779
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP430F6779A,

Hello,

I am prototyping a product that includes the MSP430F6779A. I had bought the evaluation kit that includes this MCU with a "3 Phase Electronic Watt-Hour EVM for Metering".

I have a problem calibrating the IRMS with the evaluation board EVM430-F6779. I followed the tutorial and finally I have programmed the evaluation board with the generated code.

Then, when I connect a line of 50Hz, 230V and a 7.5A current consumption, and I try to calibrate it I cannot correct the values. If I try to calibrate it, then it changes to another value, but does not reach the required IRMS. If I try to program the RC version, it happens similar, but then I can calibrate it to the correct current values, but then the power calculations are wrong.

One of my first thoughts was maybe the values of the coils or the current transformers are wrong, but I supposed that I will be able to calibrate it to the correct values at least. The voltage in the shunt resistor is around 43mV.

Am I doing something wrong and I misunderstood something about the system? Is it possible to calibrate the values?

Thanks.
