I use MSP430F5172 for my application, however, I edited the file lnkmsp430f5172.cmd, and after upload into the microcontroller, it fail. Now, I can't use anymore. My microcontroller has failed. Please help me fix it. Thanks

Hi John,

If you are looking for a copy of a default linker command file for this device, in Code Composer Studio (CCS), create a new MSP430F5172 "empty" project, then copy the linker command file and replace the one in your project.

My device is broken and cannot load the firmware. Is there any way to fix it? Thanks for reply ^^

Device can be mass erased by UART BSL (with MSP-FET or USB / UART bridge) if original TI factory BSL is untouched.

BSL setup with MSP-FET and msp430f5172 for JTAG unlock is explained here...
