MSP430FR5739: Is there a pin cmpatible alternative?

Hi,

we are using MSP430FR5729 and MSP430FR5739 in a VQFN (RHA) 40 package in our product and we need around 8000 pcs. per year, We are still facing a shortage of these devices in the market.

Is there a PIN compatibel, and if possible a register compatible device available from TI, which is available in higher quantities?

Hi Michael,

I think you can refer to all the MSP430FR57xx series family.

Hi Eason,

from the MSP430FR57xx series we are using the 29 and 39 because of the Memory with 16kB Fram. We can't use devices below that memory requirement. On the other hand we need an ADC, one SPI and one I2C Interface. It would be great, if you could advice a device in a different family as the already used, e.g the MSP430FR59xx family. PIN compatibility to the VQFN 40 Package would be great. Register compatibility is not required.

The close replacement to FR57xx would be MSP430FR59xx. As you can find there still be a little different on the pin assignment espically on Vcore pin.
