I am using the Flashpro430 programming adapter (USB-FPA 6.1) with its corresponding program (Flashpro430 Flash Programmer for MSP430 MCUs, version 5.7-6, x64), however I am having the issue where the adapter does not connect to the program when it is started up. In other words, the program can't find it under the COM ports list. I checked and the adapter is not showing up in that list for some reason.
I updated the driver it told me to update, and I am now able to see USB-FPA under the USB controllers. I tried different programming adapters, cables, usb ports, and computers, but no connection. I tried to uninstall/reinstall, and the same thing happened.
I have used an earlier version of this program with no issues (I can't remember which one unfortunately). This has been an issue since I upgraded the computer, and had to reinstall my programs.
I'm sure there is a simple solution, but can someone help me with this? Here are some screen shots of what I'm seeing. Thank you!
