Hi,
we are planning to use MSP-Flasher utility to permanently disable JTAG. As far as I understand, there are two options to disable JTAG in the MSP430FR5xxx family:
1. Disable JTAG with password
2. Disable permanently (not irreversible)
The question now is, which option is used by MSP-Flasher Utility in case we go for trigger '-f' in combination with the MSP430FR5043.

In the MSP430-FLASHER User's Guide section 7.4 it lists the different options the securing.
In the MSP430FR5043's user's guide section 1.13 it gives details on the electronic fuse.
With -f this would be the option without a password.

thank you for the quick response. I have one more question. On my MSP430FR5043 I have written 0xEEEEEEEE to the JTAG Signatures (Address: 0xFF80 - 0xFF83) at runtime (just to test if writing to these signatures at runtime is possible). According to the documentation, I would assume that this doesn't lock JTAG at all (default value initially was 0xFFFFFFFF):

This does not match the documentation for FR5xx devices, does it? Am I missing something?

Edit: I have tested this with a second device and the result is the same.
