MSP430F5308: Rev F devices MCLK can not stable under 24MHz

Do you also see this issue on Rev C and Rev D material?

And what is your XT2DRIVE setting? Have you tried with XT2DRIVE = 3?

I did not touch XT2DRIVE, meaning that the setting of this parameter keeps default, which should be 11b.

Rev C and Rev D material don't show the same signature and can work properly under 24MHz.

I tried to find more materials about the differences between Rev C/D/F. However, the only thing I can find is in the device errata. It says that the USC6 and USC10 has been fixed on RevD/E/F. So, I think there is a fix in the clock system between RevC and RevD. And the version after RevD are the same, no changing on the USC module. So, it is confused for me that you observe the same correct behavior on both RevC and D. 

How many RevF devices have you been tested? Do all the RevF devices show the same failure?

I ordered 22ea units and 21 of them have this issue. I don't see the failure signature on Rev C and Rev D material, which we ordered several years ago.

UCS6 and UCS10 may not be dedicated to the issue I am facing, can you please give me a link for MSP430F5308 errata? From your description, it seems like the issue is more process-related.

I found errata for msp430f5308 and checked UCS6 and UCS10. Both items have nothing related to the issue we are suffering. We don't use low power mode and FLL in our code.

It could be impossible because we have tried multiple approaches to generate the clock signal, such as AFG(arbitrary function generator), oscillator (MXO45HS-3C-24M000000) and even the refoclk with FLL inside the device and the results are always the same. However, the issue only happens to Rev F material.
