MSP430FR50431: MSP430FR50431 - USS_Lib

hi Cash, Ido is my colleague.

we went back to the Demo code, generated the following files using the GUI.

Note we are using the FR50431 hardware. however, the files were generated using the EVM FR6047. 

we placed the files in their folder, and clean/build the project.

we are not getting proper values.

i am using the same  USS_userConfig.h file.

Now I did an experiment:
I connected the EVM6047 to my system and got a good ADC
I did export headers, took these files and transferred them to the 6043 demo code project.
What happened was I got completely different ADC readings.
Could it be that the file I'm exporting is only suitable for the 6047?
What are the differences between them and why doesn't he read it well in 6043?

Please try the method in my former reply. 

The excitation signal might not be correct configured on FR6043,, You may need an oscilloscope to check on that.

i am in LPM-MODE , in demo code 6043:

i gets values around 200+- amplitude 

and in the GUI using 6047 i am getting this :

values around 700+- amplitude

You make me confused.. 

There are template example and demo example. 

In your original post, the demo example are getting decent ADC data. However, it the last post, the demo code somehow could not get a good ADC data. What have you done causes the differences here.

For the demo code, if you need to porting from 6043 to 5043. There are several changes need to be made in SW. Please follow the attach document for guidance. 0334.MSP430FR5043_SW_Changes.zip

we are trying to read good ADC values from the Demo code first on a FR50431 board.

we made the software changes from FR6043 to FR5043.

I will explain again:
We have a board with 50431 and I burn the demo code of 6043 on it and I try to read the ADC data.

I went back to the GUI where I use EVM6047 to see if there is a proper ADC, indeed there is a proper ADC , and then I did export headers so that the configuration I captured the ADC is saved.
I took these files and put them in the demo code 6043 project.
I burned on our board and tried to read ADC data and got bad data.

Okay. So, you are testing on the demo code for FR5043 first. So, why not using the USS GUI to debug this issue. You can connect through COMM_SCL, COMM_SDA and COMM_IRQ to communicate with GUI. 

I do not know why you do not get similar ADC data on 6047 and 5043. It should be similar. So, we need to check the excitation signal and receive signal on CHx_OUT pin using an oscilloscope. You can compare what are the differences on those signals. And it could give us some clue what happens wrong.
