ACLK ~32kHz, DCO=MCLK = SMCLK = 4MHz
What would the code look like if I wanted to configure it as above?
There were some parts in the sample code that were difficult to understand.
I would appreciate it if you could provide me with the code and a brief explanation regarding the settings.
Also, what is the setting for "REFO"?
I'm sorry that I didn't have time and asked the question before I looked into it in depth.

Start with Example msp430fr267x_CS_01.c:

and change this line

> CSCTL2 = FLLD_0 + 243; // DCODIV = 8MHz
to

> CSCTL2 = FLLD_0 + 121; // DCODIV = 4MHz

which is actually

> CSCTL2 = FLLD_0 + (4000000UL/32768U)-1; // DCODIV = 4MHz

The example already sets ACLK=SELREF=REFO=~32kHz, DCO=MCLK=SMCLK

The REFO is an internal 32kHz oscillator. It is not as good as an external crystal, but it's adequate for many/most purposes. [Ref Data Sheet (SLASEO7C) Sec 8.12.3.4]. This example uses it for both ACLK and the FLL reference clock.
