I use MSP430FR2033 chip to manage the power of equipment, including PCs.

I am trying to update the firmware of the MSP430 through a PC, but when the firmware update is performed, the chip is reset and all managed power sources are cut off, causing the PC to shut down.

So, I want to proceed with the firmware update without the MSP430 power being reset.

Is the MSP430FR2033 chip capable of this function, and if so, are there any examples?

I would also like to know how to connect to a PC to use this function.

If this is not possible, can you recommend a chip that can perform that function?
