MSP430F6777: Are AES Mode and Key length settings removed from AESCTL0?

Hello,

I have to update FW about AES cipher mode on MSP430F6777.

When I was developing FW, AESCTL0 has settings for cipher mode and key length as below.

However, in the latest datasheet, these have been removed from AESCTL0.

Are AESMx (bit 6-5) and AESKLx(bit 3-2) no longer available?

If so, could you tell me how to change cipher mode? (I need to change mode to CBC from ECB.)

What is "TRM"?

If you are meaning data sheet I have, please see attached datasheet. it was downloaded when I was developing firmware.

Hi Elly,

Here is the feedback.

The register fields in question are used to configure the cipher modes and the key length. From the feature list, it appears that we do not support either the cipher modes or the configurable key lengths. We have just the basic encryption/decryption engine.
