impliment the MODBUS protocal in msp430f249

Try this web site http://freemodbus.berlios.de/.  They have sample code for an MSP430 although I'm not sure of the variant.

You may have trouble fitting all the code into the processor you've selected.

The code for all ports is in the same archive you can download from the downlaod page.
Most of the code is plain C and fully portable (one code fits all). Only the few things that are hardware specific are found in the demo folder as MSP430 specific code (however, it might not exactly fit your specific MSP430).
