Whether TI Launchpad Emulation MSP-EXP430G2 supports WIN98 OS. If it supports WIN98 can you let me know where the drivers are available.
It does not support it. Unfortunately Windows 98 is too old for any serious development/learning nowadays.

Maciej
Hi Maciej,
Thanks for your reply. I don't want to use for the purpose of development or learning. I want to use the MSP-EXP430G2 hardware in WIN98 ATE PC for program the devices.
Thanks & Regards,
Sathish B
Ok, then install Linux (you don't even need to install something with GUI!) and use following guide to program your device: http://hackaday.com/2010/08/11/how-to-launchpad-programming-with-linux/

Maciej
Yes and no. No for programming. Win989, while supporting USB 1.1, does not uspport the virtual COM port drivers requried for programming/debugging operation or for the backchannel UART.Sathish Boganatham said:Whether TI Launchpad Emulation MSP-EXP430G2 supports WIN98 OS.
BTW: iI think it should be possible to find a WIn98 compatible driver for the TUSB chip on the LaunchPad. And maybe it will be possible to upload to the Launch Pad with a modified MSP flasher tool or so, even if the application channel won't work. However, setting up things so that they work this way would be tricky. And well worth a WIKI page, if successful.
