Can the MSP-EXP432P401R Launchpad be used to program/debug board that I am designing with an MPS432P401R (XMS432P401R) processor?
Need to get 1.27mm pin header from Digi-key: 1212-1331-ND & mate with example S9008E-07-ND
Pretty hard to solder and not creating solder-shorts.
Spend the $10 and get a dedicated j-link sw programmer

You would have to cut the support pins.
It's shame TI just throw some through-holes on the pcb without thinking about of very some common connectors out there.
Sata would been OK, cheap connectors and plenty of 1' cables out there.
There is no 4pin SWD standard and 7pin is probably even less common,
but that shouldn't stop you from "creating" a standard by being first to market when you have major influences.
