Part Number: MSP432P401R
Tool/software: Code Composer Studio
Hi Everyone,
I have designed a board with the MSP432, following the MSP432 launch pad.
I brought up the board successfully and was able to communicate with some SPI/I2C devices.
After some SPI commands, The CCS tell me that the device is no found. I tried to re-enter the debug session. I got the following error message.
"CS-DAP_0 : Error connecting to the target: (Error -1170@ 0x0) unable to access the DAP, reset the device and retry the operation."
I did a board reset, but did not work. When i tried to follow the factory reset instruction, I was told that I could not access DAP.
Any idea on how to fix this?
Best,
Eddy
Hello Eddy,
Just to be on the same page could you please answer the following questions:
1. Which version of CCS are you using??
2. Which silicon revision are you using?? Does the part number on the device starts with XMS?? http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/XMS432_Support
3. Have you tried running your code on a MSP432 Launchpad?? Do you see the same behavior??
4. Did you also try running the factory reset on SWD Mode?? Please take a look at the Launchpad User's Guide FAQ (Section 5)
Thanks,
David
