Doesn't it work with the board that Pantech sold you?

Anyway, you can use any other port, just replace the port registers in the source code.

Sir can you tell me which ports should I use for columns and rows. I have used port 3 for LCD but I don't know which port I should use for columns and rows. As because P2.1 is not available in the board, it is the user switch so I can't use this for column.

So suggest me which pins I can use for columns and rows?

No sir, I am using TI's msp430f5529 board. For Keypad interfacing I am short of one pin.

So for column interfacing I use pins from 6.0 to 6.3 and for row interfacing I use pins from 6.4 to 6.6. As because pin 6.7 is not available  so I have used pin 7.0 .

Now the main problem is that the last row which is connected to pin 7.0 it is not working and also the 2nd column is working but not properly.

Can you suggest me how to get the exact o/p?

The actual accesses are done with the symbols keyport/COL1/COL2/COL3/COL4. The definition of COL2 is wrong (it uses two bits), and COL4 does not use P7IN.

1)Since COL2 was not woking properly so I used 0x22 but actually I used 0x20. But still the column was not worked properly.
2)Yes P7 is attached to row4, but in the program how can I modify to see the row 4 working correctly?

You appear to have interchanged columns and rows.

Anyway, you have to change COL4 to use P7IN, and to use the correct bit mask for the pin you want to use.
