MSP430F5528: Source code for MSP430F5528 in " Pulse Oximeter via Finger Clip Reference Design with BLE Connectivity"

Hi,
It will be a little hard for you if you are a newer in MCU programming.
You can download the code for this design after sign in this website www.ti.com/.../tida010.pdf
But we couldn't apply the board because it says "Fully assembled board (shown above) developed for testing and performance validation only, not available for sale."

You can apply a MSP430 launchpad and start learn from the code examples first.

Thanks Sir for your advice. But I had already apllied for the software that you suggested me to download from the link. Inside the mail it only contains the software "TI Health Hub" and didn't contain the code.
Perhaps the code should be did by ourself ?
And one more question Sir, do AFE 4400 need to be programmed before using it ?
Can I just edit some of the MCU programming code that I had found from the Low Power Pulse Oximeter & EKG Reference Design?

Hi Sir,

I just applied the code. And I am going to check the code for you after I get it. 

The AFE4400 is an analogy part. It doesn't need to program. AFE4400 is using SPI interface to communicate with the MSP430F5528. All the code should be done in MSP430F5528.

The Low Power Pulse Oximeter & EKG Reference Design is based on MSP430FG437. It has some differences between the FG437 sand F5528. If you just want to use that code on FG437, that's fine.

If you are looking at a basic pulse oximeter reference design, and considering you are just starting off , consider having a look at this

www.ti.com/.../TIDM-EKG-PULSE

This is a reference board that can be bought online from Olimex, and the source code and application are available on the link above. This is a design based on MSP430FG437 and since you are just starting, it should be pretty useful

There is no DAC in MSP430F5528. But there is a DAC in MSP430FG437.
If you want to use a DAC with MSP430F5528, you have to add an external DAC.

No. The AFE4400 is not a DAC, it is a sensor. The AFE4400 is communicate with MSP430F5528 through the SPI port.
You can configure the AFE4400 and get the results from it.
