I m trying to do USB firmware upgrade on MSP432E401Y eval board using USB Flash bootloader. I have compiled the boot code sample using CCS7 and downloaded to eval board. and to flash application via USB I m using flash programmer. But every power cycle I see, the bootcode going into firmware upgrade mode and not to application code. I don't think CheckForceUpdate function is getting called. I have made no changes in boot code, the application code location remain same as 0x00004000.
Also I heard from one of the TI support person that flash programmer is not used for MSP series.So could you please let me know -
(1) which is the tool recommended by TI for USB firmware upgrade on MSP432E eval board?
(2) why CheckForceUpdate functionality is not working in the bootcode?
