I can't get any of my projects to work. I have 3 volts and 5 volts to ground on my power pins and I can get the “blink“ program to run.

I made a bank of led lights with 330 ohm resistors as a way to check that my board was out putting and wrote a program to blink the LEDs. One led worked and then stopped. When I put a voltage meter on it, none of my outputs were showing that they were HIGH.

What am I overlooking?

If TI's blinky works, and yours doesn't, then there is probably a bug in it.

Please show the source code (and use the "Insert Code" button to format it correctly).

I got it to work, it's just that I have to press the reset button on the msp430 to get it to run.
Why is that?

Hi Johnny,

Sorry for the trouble taken to you. From your feedback on Jan-14, I thought your target code can run well and so I consulted with you to check whether this thread could be closed in next day.
It seems the issue still makes you confused, now let's get back to your issue. Please share more information from below sides,
(1) there're 3 volts and 5 volts supply pins on your board, you use the 3 volts, right?
(2) you mentioned the code can run well after pushing the reset pin, could you help check the pin status at the moment?
(3) is the WDT stopped in your code? if possible, could you share the whole program to us, then I can try running with it on my board.
