Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH, MSP430-FLASHER, CC1350, CC1310, MSP430F5529
I am working with the MSP-EXP430F5529LP LaunchPad development kit.
There appears to be some issues with the boards I received, I received three, I have opened and tried two with the same results.
Connecting the USB cable to a PC or Mac and no LEDs on the boards are lit up.
The board does enumerate a couple USB devices, but, pressing the two bottom buttons on the board are supposed to produce some keyboard input, which does not happen.
Pressing and holding the BSL button while connecting does not change behavior.
Enumerated devices include a USB hub, I will list the devices below that are enumerated.
HID\VID_2047&PID_0200&REV_0109
USB\VID_2047&PID_0200&REV_0109
There are no LED lit up on the Launchpad, only these two above devices enumerate. This is the same behavior with two of the boards. The third board I have not opened.
Please see images for the box, including the serial number of one of the boards.
I am assuming this is a ez-FET that is supposed to enumerate, is there a way to re-flash the firmware if the ez-FET firmware is damaged?
