MSP-FET: Parallel programming with 4 MSP-FETs

Part Number: MSP-FET
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP-FLASHER, UNIFLASH

Hello,

I would like to program 4 devices at once in parallel. When I connect 3 MSP-FET Flash Emulation Tool to a computer, it will appear as USB1, USB2 and USB3.
When I connect the fourth MSP-FET Flash Emulation Tool, it does not appear as a USB 4 (see the picture).

I want to use programming using the command line, so I would need to see USB4 as well. Is it possible to achieve this? Or do I have to connect a maximum of only 3 MSP-FET Flash Emulation Tool?
Thank you for answer.

Best regards
Ondrej Herink

  • And what about OS, are the all 4 MSP-FET's enumerated / available in OS or not? If all are enumerated / available in OS, I guess that all of them can work with msp-flasher CLI. UniFlash is not OS, so limited number of presented FET's (if something like this exist) in GUI  is irrelevant.

  • Hello Zrno,

it's solved. I used the MSP Flasher and it is working with 4 MSP-FET. Just select the COM port that is assigned to the MSP-FET.

    Thank you for your help.
