MSP430FR2000: MSP430 to drive DRV8876 with PWM

Hi Team,

I am looking for a general purpose MSP430 to drive DRV8876 (PWM input) with some function(either lookup table or RTC) that can drive the PWM for a few minutes every two hours and turns off in between. It looks like MSP430FR2000 would be a fit. Is this the best recommendation?

And is this tech note the best supporting doc? What would be the best sample code?
