Hi,

I am making a wearable social distancing sensor with an ultrasonic distance sensor using the MSP430G2001.

I need a programmer for it now, any recommendations?

    Hi Adam,

    You could use the MSP-FET for full JTAG or a launchpad to program using Spy bi Wire. 

    If you already have an MSP430 launchpad(any of them should work), you can remove the jumpers from the isolation block to disconnect the target MCU and program an external device using the TST and RST pins which should be jumped to your MSP430G2001 board.  In MSP-EXP430G2ET, the isolation block is J3, but all of the launchpads have this header.
