i will report my comment as a related question:
in our case those port defintions are missing in msp430fr5964.h
to recover i had to install CCS 10.0.0 which contains a version of the header containing the port definitions
CCS 10.1.0 and CCS 10.1.1 is broken.
Although installing the latest Compiler-Updates ends with an Error, i could click refresh in the tools-discovery dialog and the new compiler is registered and i can build.
so this is a working workaround for the time being.
