EVM430-FR6043: EVM430-FR6043 water flow mode

Hi Leon,

Can you get a picture of how the customer connect the board with the transducers? Also check with the customer if they have filled the pipe with water. And which demo code does the customer use now?

He had test that put the sensor into water , it do not have the result neither .I will confirm the demo code ,

Hi Leon,

It seems that the transducers are connected to the wrong pin. Customer should use the pin in the orange block. You can also ask the customer to use a oscillator to check the signals on the CH0_OUT and CH1_OUT pins. Customer should see the excitation signal.

The customer use the uniflash to download the Image file and find the error below

Hi Leon,

This could related to the version of the Uniflash. Customer can use CCS or IAR to program the EVM board. It does not need to use the uniflash.

The customer can download the Image file now , but they still can not get the test result , they had use 2 sensor to the test the board ,the connection and test result are shown below

They had use the same sensor with another ultrasonic sensing board (other company , I do not know the part number) , that combination can get the test result . is there any possible , this EVM board is broken ? they order it 2 weeks ago.

Hi Leon,

It needs to put the transducer in a pipe and filled the pipe with water. The ultrasonic sound generated by the water meter transducer can not pass through the air. So it will receive nothing. Let the customer get a pipe to test like the following one.
