The SVSH trigger a BOR reset for the MSP430FR series.

The SVSH trigger a POR for the MSP430F5338.

If the SVSH on the MSP430FR series triggered a POR this could be used to save the clock registers to fram when the battery or supercap runs out.  With the current arrangement this is not possible and a work-around is required to save the lock registers to fram when the battery or supercap runs out.

Can this feature upgrade be requested please?

    Thanks for the feedback on the MSP430FR5994.
    Because this setting is part of the hardware configuration, it cannot be changed for this specific device.

    We recommend to always check the Family User's Guide of any current or new devices you're interested in to see if it has this feature.

    Also, please  check out the compute through powerless library available here which may have the workaround you are searching for.
