Hi All, i see there is a pscpice transient analysis model available for DRV8307. can anyone please let me know if there are allegro layout files also available for the same or for the EVM?

Hi Siddharth,

There are no Allegro files available for the EVM. Altium files are available for the EVM. It may be possible to import the Altium files into Allegro.

There is not. Altium is used for schematic and layout creation.

Thanks for the reply. I see that the DRV8307 has max operating range till 32v. So I guess the max phase to gnd voltage that can be generated from it is 32v?

If I need to have a phase to gnd voltage of 100v then what is the solution ?

For example : if the electric vehicle battery voltage is 300v then how do we efficiently use DRV8307 as its max supply voltage is 42v i guess.

Hi Siddharth,

The DRV8307 is intended for recommend system voltages of 32V or less.

If you are looking for 300V operation, please look at www.ti.com/.../TMDSHVMTRPFCKIT as an example.

Hi Siddharth,

After loading ControlSuite, you can find the files in the ControlSuite location

development_kits\HVMotorCtrl+PfcKit_v1.7\~HVMotorCtrl+PFC-HWdevPkg\HVMotorCtrl+PFCKit-R5

The schematic (native and pdf) and layout are available there.
