Hi Daisuke San,

Silicon processing is not my area of expertise so this term is unfamiliar to me. I would like to get you an answer on this so if you can help me understand the context of the term "barrier metal", I can investigate this. Is the barrier metal you are inquiring about intended to prevent metal migration and/or "whiskers", or is it related to hot-carrier injection, high-voltage isolation, or something else?  It seems this term is used in several contexts.
