Developing a custom Qi battery charger, we have gotten complaints from the customer that the device does not work on some chargers. Now obviously we looked back into calibration and realised that most likely we will need to do the FOD resistor value changes. Now, the datasheet is not comprehensive enough and the seemingly unmentioned program called "FODCalibration-1.0.1-windows-installer" is a bit convoluted. But we still managed to understand what is required of us.
Now the real problem is the calibrated Qi transmitter itself. The link in the FOD calibration software in "User manual.pdf" that is pointing to "www.avid-tech.com/.../qi-fodtransmitter.php" does not work.
I have been searching for this or any other device but can't find anything.
Can anyone point us in the right direction, which device currently available on the market has this capability and would be suitable for FOD calibration and potentially where can we buy them from?
