Please let me know how to calculate maximum power dissipation of this IC LP8866.
All 6 channel led string we are using.
Total current 6 strings =780mA
per string max 130mA

Hi, Pankaj

As our device is a controller. The power dissipation is from two part, VDD power and the current sink power.

So it can be estimate as VDD*IDD + VOUT*IOUT*Channel.

Thanks for the reply.
If i will go through your calculation:-
VDD=3.3V, IDD=0.104A, VOUT=35V, IOUT=0.78A, Total channel=6.

Total power dissipation= 164.14W

But this pd is to high. I think its not correct.

The VDD side it correct, the other side, is the voltage on OUT pin, not the boost output. Because only the voltage on OUT will lead to the power dissipation.
