Why the GUI is so difficultly? and the manual PDF that "fusion digital power designer GUI" is not clear at all.
With errors like that, it looks like there is noise on the PMBus interface.
The PMBus interface, like SMBUS and I2C, is a clock and data interface, which is the most noise susceptible interface.
- Keep the lines short.
-You may need to decrease the resistance of the pull up resistors.
- Adjust down to 100 KHz.
- Certainly don't do what I saw at one customer - don't twist clock and data lines together!
- The length of the lines on the PMBus cable on the USB Interface Adapter can be too long for some noisy environments.
If none of that works, I'd suggest putting a scope on the clock and data lines and seeing what is going on.
hello You are using the wrong GUI. Earlier this year the fusion digital power studio was branched from the designer. Please use studio for ucd31xx products. This info is also mentioned in a red box on the top of the fusion designer page.
Also there is an isolated gui user guide on ucd3138 device page.
