I am implementing some over voltage protection on a 4S battery pack using the BQ2961 series. I was wondering if there was a recommended fuse series or manufacturer that TI would recommend to be used with their parts? I have looked at all reference documentation on the TI website regarding this series and could not find anything on any of the development kits or demo boards.
Thanks,
Dave
Hi David,
I would recommend using Dexerials-SFK series fuses.
on 15S design ( 60V) reference design system, I recently was very successful using the SF-5030 ( 30A). Very
clean blow and precise.
Agree, some of these can be long lead items.
