Hello TI Team,
We're developing a vehicle controller powered by TI TDA4 SOC.
Now we hope to boot the SOC from PCIe, but we found no more documents about the PCIe mode except the TRM chapter 4. We don't know how to boot it.
1. if TI SDK boot-loader already supports booting from the PCIe Host?
2. could you show us more documents to tell the details?
Note that we have successfully boot the SOC from SD/EMMC/UART/USB-DFU, with TI J721E-EVM board.
Regards,
Raymond.
Hi Raymond,
Our SDK does not support booting from PCIe:
1. if TI SDK boot-loader already supports booting from the PCIe Host?
The answer is NO.
2. could you show us more documents to tell the details?
No such documents available.
Best Regards,
Keerthy
Hello Keerthy,
Thanks for the reply.
Then do you confirm if the TDA4 really supports booting from PCIe Host? Do you have some validation for this?
Best Regards,
Raymond.
Hi Raymond,
There is no support from RoM code as well for PCIe boot on TDA4. So PCIe boot is NOT supported.
Best Regards,
Keerthy
