Hi, Experts,
I have a few questions about the MCU R5F lockstep operation mode using u-boot.
When using r5 u-boot to turn on lockstep for MCU R5F, what is the initial operating mode?
How can I use r5 u-boot to change the lockstep operation mode of MCU R5F?
Regards,
ChunChu
Hi ChunChu,
I thought we already closed this issue on below thread, are there any further questions?

Hi Brijesh,
I can already use u-boot to control lockstep mode & split mode through the following thread, but I hope to further set their operation mode.
Should I continue to use this thread to ask this question?

ChunChu
Hi ChunChu,
i am sorry i did not get the question. Where do you want to set this mode?
Lets continue our discussion here.

Hi Bridges,
I want to set various operation modes in the CPU output compare block of CCMR5 so that I can test it. Should I set it in r5 u-boot?
Regards,
ChunChu
Hi ChunChu,
You would have to set this operation that you require. You could do it in uboot or in TI SPL. This might not be enabled by default.
I think the original question is resolved. so can you please close this thread?

Hi Bridges,
I did not see the option to set Operating Modes in the Device tree of R5 u-boot.
So can I only set these Operating Modes in MCU_R5F main?
Regards,
ChunChu
Hi ChunChu,
I really doubt that R5F-SPL code supports different operating modes for the lockstep R5F mode. We have some PDK examples which you could use to test these functionality, but these examples can be loaded via CCS or SBL.
Anyway this is a separate question, so i am closing this thread.
