  • Hello Fabio,

Please note that TMS320C6457 has no design support as per the product page, so we will not be able to offer any support from a hardware or software design standpoint. I am sending your question to the CCS team to see if they have any comments.

    Regards,

    Nick

  • Hello Fabio,

Are you referring to RTSC platforms? Are you trying to create a custom RTSC platform file?

  • Hello ki,

yes, we have defined a new RTSC platform.

Then when i try to select the platform in my project, il a drop down list of platform, my custom platform previous defined is not listed. Why? it Seem that in CCS 5.3 this sequence work correctly.

More over Ki, i want to ask an help in order to find an Udp Example to try in my board with C6457. I wrote to TI but we don't have responce.

Can you indicate where is possible to obtain a simple example that use udp. I have downloaded pakage bios_mcsdk_1_00_00_08_setup, because i use CCS 5.3 with SYS BIOS 6.34.

This package install NDK,SDK,PDK. But i dont find a possible example to use in order to verify Ethernet on my board with C6457.

Can you help me with same indication or link?

    Thanks

    Fabio

  • Unfortunately you are using several packages that have been deprecated in support (NDK, RTSC, etc). These packages are beyond my area of expertise. I will bring this thread to the attention of the device experts for any further input.
