Hi,
I have a question about connecting a serial NOR Flash to SPI0 and booting the device.
The CPU and CSx are connected as follows.
・CS0 - Serial NOR Flash
・CS1-RTC
At this time, RTC's CS is active high, so I would like to fix CS1 to L during startup. Is there any way to do this?
Currently, it is H for about 30ms from power-on until CS1 is set to L by the bootloader.
I can also send the schematic via private message if n
Thanks,
Astro
Hello Astro,
Thank you for the Query.
I can have a look at the schematics to understand the query better.
Is you query on the hardware connection or the software changes.

Hello Astro,
Can you please reply the above query. I copied the same below

Hi,Sreenivasa
I have sent the circuit diagram to your private message, could you please check it?
I want to handle it with software. If that is difficult, we are considering hardware support.
Thanks,
Astro
Hello Astro
I had a quick look at the issues you mentioned and the circuit diagram.
The inputs could be floating during powerup causing this issue.
Can you please try terminating the CS using a resistor.

Sreenivasa
Hi, Sreenivasa
Do you mean "place an external pull-down resistor"? If so, I would like to know about:
1. Is it not possible to pull down in the SOC?
2. External pull-down resistor value
Thanks,
Astro
Hello Astro
2. External pull-down resistor value
If it is required to be pulled down during power-up, an external termination is expected to be used.
