TMS320DM8167: Alternatives to DM8168CCYG4

Hi,

we use the TMS320DM8168CCYG4 in some of our products. It's not currently being delivered to us though, so we're looking at alternatives. We have seen on the website:

  •     TMS320DM8167SCYG4
  •     TMS320DM8165SCYG4


Since we don't use any video features, they should fit us, the important thing being that the DSP runs at 1GHz (hence the final 4). In the datasheet though, we can't see the partnumber differences between DM816xCCYG4 and DM816xSCYG4 to have any assurance that replacing the one in use with these will keep everything running without (or with very little) change.

Can you remove these doubts?
