AM3354: "Fatal: The Wayland connection broke. Did the Wayland compositor die?" QT Errror on Embedded Linux with AM335x MCU

Hi,

I have a problem about qt on embedded linux with AM335x MCU.

When I press the screen(clickable widgets, buttons) and hold my finger on the screen, sometimes during screen switching I get the error that "Fatal: The Wayland connection broke. Did the Wayland compositor die?"

QT : QT5.13.1

Tool Chain : ti-processor-sdk-linux-am335x-evm-05.01.00.11

How can I solve this problem?

Hello,

I see similar issues being reported by the Qt/Weston community: https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-97654?focusedCommentId=590660&page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels%3Acomment-tabpanel . My recommendation would be to follow up with the Qt community because TI doe snot maintain or own open source frameworks like Qt or Weston.
