TMS320VC5510A: development board or system that utilizes this DSP (TMS320VC5510AZAVA2)

is there a development board that is currently available to buy that is in this line of DSP. or one that is close enought that could be adapted with a socket to work with this dsp chip. or is there a system for sale that uses this DSP in the system. that is available to be purchased? need to validate this dsp for use in a system and would be helpful to have a working system to develope with.

    Hello Rhett,

    Unfortunately we don't have any dev boards for this device. There isn't another DSP with the same package / pin count combination and so there wouldn't be a board for a different device that would fit it. I don't see any way that a socket could be adapted without having to make an entire translator board for it. There are other C55x dev boards like the TMDX55xxEZDSP variants if you wanted to explore that path, but I wouldn't be able to make any informed recommendations on which one would be best to use.
